Job summary

lee quan (hai zhong bao) pte. ltd. invites an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee the Singapore entity's full accounting cycle, ensuring compliance with SFRS and internal policies. You will manage month-end close and prepare financial statements for accurate general ledger reporting.

You will supervise AR/AP, reconcile bank statements, support budgeting and forecasting, and liaise with auditors to facilitate annual audits while strengthening internal controls and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• ACCA or CA Singapore preferred.
• 5+ years in a senior accounting role.
• Proficient in accounting software and Excel.
• Knowledge of SFRS and GST.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and manage priorities.
• Supervising a team is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts, including month-end closing activities and the preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring timely billing, collections, and payment processing.
• Reconcile bank statements, post journal entries, and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting for GST filing and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper accounting for all transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Liaise with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
• Implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Stay updated on industry trends, changes in accounting regulations, and best practices.
