Job summary

MCI CAREER SERVICES PTE. LTD. invites an experienced accountant to join our finance team in Singapore, located on Pandan Road. The role offers up to SGD 5,000 per month plus a variable bonus, with a 5-day work week from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

You will manage full-set accounts, prepare monthly reports, handle GST and liaise with auditors and banks, supporting a small three-member team. Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience, including full-set accounts preparation, financial reporting, GST and external audit coordination.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office; willingness to learn AutoCount accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently, guide team members and meet reporting deadlines.
• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin to coordinate with relevant business associates, alongside strong attention to detail and a proactive working attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-set accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations and timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare monthly management reports, financial statements, cash flow forecasts, budgets and variance analyses to support management decision-making.
• Handle GST submissions and statutory compliance while coordinating with external auditors, tax agents and banks on audit, taxation and financial matters.
• Monitor financial transactions, outstanding balances and internal controls, ensuring accurate accounting records while supporting and coordinating activities within a three-member finance team.
