Job summary

ONEGLOBAL BROKING SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to support finance operations across insurance broking and captive insurance management.

You will handle insurance broking accounts payable, support captive accounting and reporting, and ensure accuracy of financial records across multiple entities. The role offers exposure to IFRS 17 and IFRS 4 accounting, with responsibilities spanning journal entries, month-end closings, audits, and regulatory filings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in insurance, insurance broking, captive management, or financial services.
• Knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principles; exposure to IFRS 17 would be beneficial.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records for captive insurance companies and related entities.
• Record and reconcile premium, claims, reinsurance, investment income, and operating expense transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports in accordance with IFRS (IFRS 17/IFRS 4).
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and account reconciliations.
• Support actuarial reporting, audits, regulatory filings, and board reporting requirements.
• Liaise with captive managers, actuaries, auditors, brokers, and service providers.
• Process insurer settlements, supplier invoices, employee expense claims, and operational payments.
• Reconcile insurer and supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end reconciliations and reporting.
• Maintain accurate creditor records and supporting documentation.
• Support external audits and statutory reporting requirements.
