Job summary

MICHAEL PAGE INTERNATIONAL PTE LTD is seeking a qualified accounting professional to manage a diverse client portfolio and deliver comprehensive financial reporting. You will prepare full sets of accounts, perform month-end and year-end closings, and liaise with auditors and regulators to ensure compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 1 year of accounting experience, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience.
• Experience managing multiple client portfolios.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Familiarity with tax and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries.
• Prepare and review full sets of accounts in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Perform month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Review accounting records, reconciliations, and general ledger transactions.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients on accounting-related matters.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and regulatory bodies.
• Support statutory compliance and tax-related reporting requirements.
• Assist with workflow planning, resource allocation, and process improvements.
• Contribute to the implementation of accounting systems, internal controls, and best practices.
