Job summary

Michael Page Singapore represents an established private investment office seeking a capable accountant to manage full sets of accounts for investment entities and deliver timely reports under Singapore standards. You will perform month-end closes, reconciliations, AP/AR processing, and assist in portfolio reporting, budgeting, and analytics, coordinating with auditors and external service providers.

With a Bachelor in Accounting and 3+ years of accounting experience, you will contribute to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and reporting standards.
• Experience handling month-end and year-end closing activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts and general ledger activities for investment-related entities
• Prepare month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial reports in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
• Perform reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting schedules and supporting documentation
• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable and payment transactions
• Support investment operations through recording of capital calls, distributions, dividends and other investment-related activities
• Assist in portfolio reporting, budgeting exercises and financial analysis
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents and external service providers for statutory and compliance requirements
• Drive process enhancement and automation initiatives to improve finance operations and reporting efficiency
