Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage a diverse client portfolio. You will prepare and review full sets of accounts in line with applicable standards, perform month-end and year-end closings, and prepare management reports.

You will liaise with clients, auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies, ensuring accuracy in records and compliance, while mentoring junior associates and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in professional services.
• Experience in managing multiple client portfolios.
• Experience in preparing full sets of accounts and financial reports.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Xero and advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with tax and regulatory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of clients across various industries.
• Prepare and review full sets of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure accurate accounting records, reconciliations, and general ledger transactions.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients on accounting matters and provide professional advice.
• Liaise with clients, auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities.
• Assist with statutory compliance and preparation of tax schedules and submission requirements.
• Supervise, train, mentor, and review the work of junior account associates.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, internal controls, and SOPs.
