Job description

We are seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to join our finance team and take a leading role in day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities. This position carries a higher level of ownership, judgement and accountability, and works closely with the Finance Manager on month-end closing, audit coordination and financial reporting matters.

The role is suited for an experienced accounting professional who is hands-on, dependable and capable of operating with minimal supervision, while serving as a key support pillar within the finance function.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Support the Finance Manager on finance, accounting, audit and reporting matters
  • Independently manage end-to-end accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) functions across multiple entities
  • Take ownership of assigned accounting areas, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records
  • Lead month-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations and supporting schedules
  • Perform and review bank reconciliations and monitor cash movements
  • Prepare foreign currency revaluation entries, including realised and unrealised exchange differences
  • Act as the primary liaison with external auditors for assigned entities
  • Ensure proper maintenance and organisation of accounting records and documentation
  • Process and review payments and staff expense claims in accordance with internal controls
  • Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Support ad-hoc finance tasks and process improvement initiatives as required
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Accounting or a related field
  • 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment
  • Strong hands-on experience in AR, AP, bank reconciliations and month-end closing
  • Experience supporting audits and working with external auditors
  • Detail-oriented, reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision
