Job summary

Stavian Singapore seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the full spectrum of accounting functions within a fast-paced commodity trading environment.

You will manage monthly closings, ensure compliance with SFRS/IFRS and tax regulations, and prepare comprehensive financial statements. The role requires 7–10 years in commodity trading and strong Excel skills in an international setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA/CA) preferred.
• 7–10 years of accounting experience within commodity trading is required.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting, month-end close, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in English; ability to work in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full spectrum of accounting functions: AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, fixed assets.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Ensure compliance with SFRS/IFRS, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Assist in budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting insights.
• Process and verify commodity trading transactions and inventory movements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and regulators.
