Job summary

DIGITAL HUMAN CAPITAL PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Accounting professional (10+ years) to manage our accounting and financial reporting functions in Singapore. The role requires independent management of the full accounting cycle and strong technical knowledge.

You will oversee GL, AP/AR, monthly management accounts, year-end closings, journal entries, tax matters, and audits. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for timely reporting and controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong experience in full-set accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting practices and SFRS.
• Good understanding of GST, corporate tax and statutory accounting requirements.
• Proven experience in month-end and year-end closing.
• Strong audit and financial reporting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Able to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.
• Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Prepare Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
• Perform bank, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Manage cash flow and working capital reporting.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
• Coordinate with tax agents on corporate tax and GST matters.
• Ensure accounting records and supporting documents are properly maintained.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Singapore accounting and statutory requirements.
• Develop and maintain effective financial controls and accounting procedures.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Provide financial analysis and accounting advice to management.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning where required.
• Supervise and provide guidance to junior accounting staff where applicable.
