Job summary

AVOLT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Accountant to join the finance team. You will manage full accounting cycles, perform month-end close, and deliver accurate financial reporting to management.

The role requires a Degree in Accountancy and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with strong MS Office skills, analytical ability, and good communication. You will coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure policy compliance and effective controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy is required.
• Min 3 years relevant work experience in accounting, construction sector is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates initiative, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Results-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Able to handle full sets of accounts independently with minimal supervision.
• Provide accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.
• Responsible for preparation of statements of outstanding accounts.
• Responsible to compile and check staff reimbursements.
• Assist in budget forecast and financial analysis on P&L and balance sheet.
• Coordinate with internal parties to support intercompany activities.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, and authorities as required.
• Ensure company compliance with financial policies and regulations.
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Assist in enhancing financial and management reporting systems, internal controls, policies and procedures.
