We are seeking a hands-on and independent Accountant to oversee the company's full spectrum of accounting and finance functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing full sets of accounts, GST and tax compliance, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical accounting knowledge, be familiar with accounting software and have the ability to recommend, implement and improve accounting systems and processes to support the company's business operations and future growth.

• Handle the full spectrum of accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and month-end/year-end closing.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet schedules and intercompany reconciliations where applicable.
• Monitor the company's financial performance and ensure proper internal controls and accounting procedures.

2. Accounting Software & System Implementation

• Evaluate existing accounting systems and recommend suitable accounting software to meet the company's operational and financial requirements.
• Lead or coordinate the implementation of accounting software, including system setup, data migration and process integration.
• Establish and improve accounting workflows, internal controls and reporting procedures.
• Ensure effective utilisation of accounting systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts and periodic budget reviews.
• Monitor and analyse revenue, costs, expenses and profitability.
• Prepare cashflow forecasts and monitor the company's cash position.

4. GST & Tax Compliance

• Ensure timely submission of statutory and regulatory reports.

5. General Finance & Administrative Support

• Work independently to manage the company's day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
• Support management with financial information, reports and other ad-hoc assignments as required.
