Job summary

FUBANG RESOURCES (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a capable finance leader to oversee daily financial operations, align with the China finance team, and ensure accurate, compliant data across regions.

You will manage local tax filings (SFRS, GST), lead internal controls, support audits, liaise with banks and authorities, and drive financing activities and cross-border currency risk management. Fluency in English and Chinese is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• ACCA/CPA preferred and highly regarded.
• 3–5 years of experience in overall financial operations in a corporate setting.
• Proficient in SFRS and local tax laws; strong Excel skills and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial operations of the Singapore entity and coordinate with the China finance team.

Job Description:

• Overall oversee the daily financial operations and management of the Singapore company, establish and maintain an efficient collaboration mechanism with the domestic finance team in China, synchronously advance the connection of financial work between the two regions, and ensure the smooth running of financial processes and the accuracy and consistency of financial data.


• Independently handle all types of local tax filings in Singapore, including but not limited to the calculation, filing and filing for record of corporate income tax and Goods and Services Tax (GST). Strictly comply with the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and the relevant laws and regulations of the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) to ensure zero risks of tax compliance.


• Take the lead in optimizing the company's financial processes and internal control system, sort out the pain points of existing financial links, put forward rational improvement suggestions and drive their implementation; cooperate with the domestic team to complete the annual audit work, be responsible for the full-process communication and coordination with external auditors, provide the required financial information and answer audit inquiries to ensure the efficient completion of the audit work.


• Maintain good cooperative relationships with audit institutions, banks, tax authorities and various external professional consultants, respond to the communication needs of external institutions in a timely manner, accurately transmit the company's financial information, and ensure the orderly progress of all finance-related cooperation.


• Monitor banking policies and financing market developments to support the company’s financing activities.


• Support trade finance operations, including Letters of Credit (LC), (BG), Trust Receipts (TR), import financing, and other banking facilities.


• Possess hands-on experience in bank financing; familiar with the full procedures of credit line approval, working capital loans, bill discounting and other financing businesses, capable of independently liaising with banks to prepare relevant documents and follow up loan disbursement.


• Take overall charge of cross-border foreign exchange and investment & financing businesses, control compliance of cross-border capital flows, formulate exchange rate risk management strategies, and mitigate exchange gains or losses.

Job Requirements:

• Educational Background and Professional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management or related disciplines; candidates with international or local professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA and CPA will be given priority.


• Financial Work Experience: Have at least 3-5 years of experience in overall financial operations, proficient in the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), tax laws and the local business environment; candidates with financial work experience in large and medium-sized enterprises or multinational companies in the bulk commodity trading industry will be preferred.


• Professional Skills: Capable of independently completing the full set of accounting processing, proficient in operating at least one mainstream financial software and advanced Excel functions (PivotTable, functional analysis, etc.), and possess strong financial data processing and analysis capabilities.


• Comprehensive Abilities: Possess excellent problem analysis and solving capabilities, strong stress resistance, and be able to efficiently oversee multiple tasks to ensure the timely and high-quality completion of all work assignments.


• Communication Skills: Possess outstanding cross-departmental and external communication and coordination capabilities, fluent in both Chinese and English (written and spoken), and able to efficiently coordinate with the domestic team, all relevant parties of the company and external institutions.


• Professionalism: Meticulous and prudent, strong sense of responsibility, with a high level of professional ethics, confidentiality awareness and dedication, and able to strictly abide by financial compliance requirements.
