Job summary

SWIFT SEARCH GLOBAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a technically strong Senior Accountant to manage accounting and financial operations for one or more entities.

This individual-contributor role covers closing, reporting, compliance and day-to-day accounting, working with service providers to support statutory requirements and improvements. The candidate will lead month-end closings, AP/AR/GL, journal entries and reconciliations, while preparing management accounts and statutory statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/business or related field.
• ACCA/CPA/CA or equivalent is advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience including entity-level closing.
• Strong hands-on experience with AP, AR and GL.
• Experience with month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Experience handling corporate tax and GST matters.
• Experience with statutory audits and coordination with auditors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage month-end and year-end closing for assigned entities.
• Handle AP/AR/GL activities and prepare journal entries and reconcilations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements.
• Analyze revenue and expense variances and provide explanations.
• Support tax filings, audit schedules and coordination with auditors.
• Collaborate with business teams on financial insights and budgeting.
• Identify process improvements in closing and reporting; support ERP enhancements.
