Job summary

HKT GLOBAL (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Accountant to join our Finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager, overseeing financial operations across multiple Singapore entities and ensuring accurate reporting and regulatory compliance.

You will lead month-end close, prepare schedules for Group reporting, handle GST/SST/VAT where applicable, liaise with auditors and external advisers, and drive process improvements in accounting controls to support business needs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting, and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills in English; ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage full spectrum of financial accounting activities, including month-end closing and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial schedules, reports, and supporting documentation for Group reporting.
• Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and management accounting deliverables.
• Handle GST, SST, VAT, and withholding tax filings where applicable.
• Coordinate annual statutory audits and XBRL filings with audit teams.
• Partner with Group Finance and cross-functional stakeholders to support reporting needs.
• Ensure completion of company statistics required by authorities.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities on finance matters.
• Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and controls.
