Job summary

EcoCeres Singapore, a key trading arm of EcoCeres Group, is seeking a Finance Operations professional to own end-to-end accounting and reporting. You will manage month-end closes, FS preparation, reconciliations, and ensure IFRS/SFRS compliance while maintaining internal controls.

The role involves coordinating with auditors, supporting tax filings, and assisting in LC/SBLC submissions and payments. A degree in accountancy/finance and 4+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in accountancy or finance is required.
• At least 4 years of finance and accounting experience in trading, commodities, oil & gas or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local Singapore standards (SFRS).
• Experience with LC/SBLC instruments and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end accounting and month-end close process with accurate reporting.
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules.
• Ensure IFRS/SFRS compliance and uphold internal controls.
• Maintain lease registry and coordinate year-end audits as liaison with external auditors.
• Support tax filings (GST) and statutory reporting; assist in LC/SBLC submissions and payments.

What You'll Do

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Take ownership of the full spectrum of accounting and month-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting.
• Prepare financial reports, account reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, and supporting analyses.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Singapore accounting standards, corporate policies, and internal control requirements.
• Maintain lease registry.
• Coordinate year-end audits and serve as the main liaison with external auditors.

Tax & Compliance

• Support corporate tax, GST filings, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate information required by tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities.

Others

• Assist in import and export LC/SBLC submission.
• Assist the Global Team in payments as required

What You'll Need

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance.
• At least 4 years' relevant finance and accounting experience in trading, commodities, oil & gas or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Singapore Financial Reporting Standard (SFRS) Singapore tax regulations, and internal control.
• Experience in LC/SBLC.
• Good attention to detail.
• Team player, collaborative, organised, driven individual, resourceful and tenacious to follow through.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese, at least fair.
