DESIGNATION : Senior Accountant (GL)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and providing timely reporting to support decision-making.

• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports, and perform variance analysis
• Prepare monthly reporting packages to Holding Company
• Manage statutory audit and prepare annual financial statements in compliance with SFRS
• Prepare schedules and provide support to Group Finance and Tax Team
• Provide support for internal audit and corporate compliance
• Prepare and submit surveys to government authorities (e.g. Department of Statistics, EDB) with specified deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Accounting/ACCA or equivalent to 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of SFRS and core accounting principles
• Audit experience in Big 4 is an added advantage
• Experience in SAP and Hyperion (HFM) preferred
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Positive work attitude, self‑starter, and able to work independently as well as in a team
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
