Job summary

AKA Asia in Singapore seeks an experienced Account Director/Senior Account Director to lead a portfolio of high-profile corporate and consumer brands. You will shape communications strategy, counsel senior clients, and guide earned media and reputation programs with senior teams.

You will own stakeholder relations, develop narratives, manage launches and events, and drive growth. The role sits on the agency's senior leadership bench, guiding people development and ensuring high-quality thinking

Qualifications

• Approximately 10+ years of PR and communications experience, ideally within an agency environment.
• Experience leading significant client relationships and teams.
• Strong strategic judgement connecting business objectives, audience insight and earned opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior client relationships and act as a trusted point of counsel on communications strategy, reputation, positioning and campaign direction.
• Critically analyse briefs and business challenges, identify the real communications problem to solve, and recommend the right approach.
• Lead strategic planning across assigned accounts with clear objectives, audiences, narratives and KPIs.
• Own the earned communications strategy across accounts including corporate profiling, consumer storytelling and media engagement.
• Lead senior spokesperson preparation for interviews and external engagements.
• Oversee major launches, media programmes, and events ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Lead the agency approach to stakeholder engagement across media, influencers and industry bodies.
• Contribute to the agency’s communications capability through training and mentoring.
