Level Infinite's internal creative studio (ICC) is seeking a Senior 2D Artist to shape worlds, characters and key moments for AAA titles. You will lead visual development across 2D and 3D workflows with a distinctive artistic eye and mentor teammates.

Based in Singapore, this hybrid role blends cutting-edge AI-assisted ideation, 3D blocking, and traditional painting to push fidelity. You’ll collaborate with the Head of Art and ICC leadership to deliver standout visuals and marketing visuals.

Formación

• 6+ years of professional concept art or character art in Games, Film, or high-end Entertainment.
• Strong eye for design, color, anatomy and storytelling fundamentals.
• Hands‑on experience integrating AI tools into a creative pipeline.
• Proficiency with 3D tools for blocking, kitbashing, posing and presentation.
• Deep proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and the wider Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine for look development and presentation.

• Mentor and elevate the 2D, concept and character craft of the wider team.
• Collaborate with Head of Art and ICC leadership across all work and clients.

What the Role Entails

As a Senior 2D Artist within Level Infinite’s internal creative studio (ICC), you will be the creative heartbeat of our visual development — the artist who imagines worlds, characters and key moments before they’re built. Working across a diverse portfolio of AAA titles and genres, you will produce concept art and character designs that establish the artistic worldview of our projects and set the bar for everything our wider team creates downstream.

This is a hybrid craft role for the modern pipeline. You are first and foremost a world-class draughtsperson and designer with a distinctive artistic eye, but you also embrace AI-assisted ideation, 3D tooling and a fluid 2D–3D workflow to iterate faster and push fidelity further. You will sit within the Art team under our Head of Art, contributing to creative co-development, key visuals and high-profile marketing content, while mentoring and elevating the craft of those around you.

• Create premium marketing art and character pieces that execute on, and elevate, the creative vision of our projects


• Lead visual development across characters, environments, props, key art and marketing moments, from rough ideation through to polished, presentation-ready artwork


• Define the look, silhouette and personality of characters — design, costume, expression and storytelling — to a world‑class standard


• Integrate AI tools into your ideation and production pipeline to accelerate exploration, generate variations and increase output without compromising craft or originality


• Move fluidly between 2D and 3D — using 3D tools to block out, kitbash, light and pose concepts before painting over and finishing in 2D


• Produce clean, well‑presented design sheets, callouts and paint‑overs that brief and guide 3D artists, CGI and external vendors


• Demonstrate creative problem‑solving when working from incomplete game assets, loose direction or tight deadlines


• Collaborate closely with the Head of Art and the wider ICC leadership across all work and clients


• Keep up to date with creative technologies, AI advances, art trends and game engines


• Mentor and elevate the 2D, concept and character craft of the wider team


• Work with the rest of the team to constantly improve and grow the Studio

Who We Look For

• Experience: +6 years of professional concept art or character art experience in Games, Film, or high-end Entertainment, with a portfolio that demonstrates range and originality


• Artistic Eye: An exceptional “artistic eye” for design, composition, colour, anatomy and storytelling, with mastery of the fundamentals


• Concept & Character Craft: Demonstrable strength in concept art and character design — ideation, costume, silhouette, expression and visual narrative


• AI Integration: Hands‑on experience integrating AI tools into a creative pipeline (e.g. generative ideation, image synthesis and paint‑over workflows), with the judgement to use them in service of craft


• 3D Tools: Comfortable using 3D tools (e.g. Blender, ZBrush, Maya, Marmoset Toolbag or equivalent) for blocking, kitbashing, posing, lighting and presentation to support 2D concepting


• Adobe Creative Suite: Deep proficiency across the Adobe creative design suite, in particular Photoshop, with strong digital painting skills


• Pipeline Knowledge: Familiarity with Unreal Engine, our primary production pipeline, for look development, lighting and presentation of assets


• Problem Solving: Strong creative problem-solving, particularly when working from incomplete briefs, assets or references


• Attributes: Highly mature, emotionally intelligent, and capable of giving and receiving feedback with professional grace


• Industry Passion: A deep affinity for video games, film, and the creative industries
