Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking an engineer to analyze zero-yield and low-yield wafers to drive yield enhancements. You will resolve process issues in collaboration with Modules and ensure smooth line flow to meet customer delivery timelines.

You will characterize process windows for robustness and coordinate with ADG/AMS/AMG/MDG for technology and product transfers, while contributing to weekly yield updates and MRB discussions. English communication skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of semiconductor device physics across MOSFETs, BJTs, diodes and power devices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
  • Experience with electrical characterization equipment such as parametric testers, curve tracers, SMUs, LCR meters or probers.
  • Data analysis using tools like JMP, Excel, or similar.
  • Good communication in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze zero-yield or low-yield wafers to drive yield improvements.
  • Collaborate with Modules to resolve process issues and ensure on-time customer delivery.
  • Characterize process windows to enhance robustness and repeatability.
  • Liaise with ADG/AMS/AMG/MDG and support tech/product transfers within defined timelines.
  • Participate in weekly yield updates and master plan reviews with divisions.
  • Conduct MRB meetings to disposition SBL lots on a weekly basis.
