Job summary

Sciente International Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Production Manager / Section Manager to lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers, Cell Leaders and Operators in a semiconductor manufacturing site.

The role drives daily production performance, continuous improvement and operational excellence while ensuring high standards of quality and cleanroom discipline. You will monitor KPIs, address production issues, implement training, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain process improvements

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
• Must have at least5 years of production / manufacturing management experience.
• Hands-on experience in people management and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of production KPIs including output, quality, cost, cycle time, and productivity.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Manufacturing Engineers, Cell Leaders, and Operators to achieve production KPIs and business objectives.
• Monitor and drive daily performance across key areas including output, quality, cost, cycle time, and productivity.
• Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and execute action plans to address production issues and achieve performance targets.
• Implement training programmes to strengthen the technical skills and capabilities of the production team.
• Ensure proper cleanroom cleanliness, housekeeping, and operator discipline are maintained.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to support production performance and achieve operational excellence.
