Job summary

ams OSRAM Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an Early Professional process engineer to monitor production performance, establish controls and support manufacturing operations in a fast-moving semiconductor environment.

You will analyze yield loss with statistical tools, investigate quality excursions, and drive cost and cycle-time improvements through defined actions and clear process documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Manufacturing, Materials, Industrial, or related field).
• Fresh graduates welcome.
• 1–3 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of semiconductor backend assembly processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and process control techniques.
• Statistical tools: Minitab, JMP, SPC, DOE.

Responsibilities

• Monitor process performance and establish controls to ensure stable production output.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Provide daily engineering support to manufacturing operations and work closely with Production, Quality, Equipment and Product Engineering.
• Analyse yield loss trends and identify root causes using statistical tools.
• Investigate customer complaints and internal quality excursions, identify Root cause and Define Corrective and Preventive Actions.
• Lead or take part of the cost reduction, cycle time reduction, and productivity improvement projects.
• Create and maintain process specifications, work instructions, FMEA, Control Plans, and engineering reports.
