Job summary

APPLIED MATERIALS SOUTH EAST ASIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a role focused on developing and maintaining fabrication methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.

You will collaborate with other engineering teams to release product improvements and new products, applying DFx principles to estimate and reduce costs while enhancing quality. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of semiconductor experience or related industry

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is required.
1–2 years of semiconductor experience or related industry experience.
Knowledge of semiconductor industry gained through education or work experience.
General understanding of DFx (design for excellence) to improve costs and quality.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain methods, operating sequences, and processes for fabrication of parts and assemblies.
Coordinate with other engineering functions to release product improvements and new products.
Estimate and reduce manufacturing costs using DFx principles to improve product quality.
Determine time standards and advise on tooling and process needs.
Develop test procedures, evaluate results, and review work methods and policies.
Assist in identifying root causes and corrective actions during assembly or system testing.
