Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Chemical/Process/Facilities Engineering.
• Experience in semiconductor facilities, gas piping, QC inspection or piping testing preferred.
• Able to read engineering drawings and piping layouts.
• Strong attention to detail and safety mindset.
• Willing to work at multiple project sites in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC inspection and testing of gas piping systems at project sites.
• Inspect piping installation and workmanship according to approved drawings and project requirements.
• Coordinate required piping tests and inspections.
• Prepare inspection reports, test reports, checklists and QC documentation.
• Maintain records of inspections and testing results.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, contractors and customers on inspection activities.
• Support final inspection, testing, project completion and handover.
• Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and project requirements.
• Perform other related engineering or QC duties as assigned.

As our Singapore operations continue to expand, we are looking for a Semiconductor Gas Piping QC Testing Engineer to join our team and support our semiconductor engineering projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform QC inspection and testing of gas piping systems at semiconductor project sites.
• Inspect piping installation and workmanship according to approved drawings and project requirements.
• Conduct and coordinate required piping tests and inspections.
• Identify defects or non conformities and follow up on rectification works.
• Prepare inspection reports, test reports, checklists and QC documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and testing results.
• Review engineering drawings, piping layouts and relevant technical documents.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, contractors and customers on inspection and testing activities.
• Support final inspection, testing, project completion and handover.
• Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and project requirements.
• Perform other related engineering or QC duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in semiconductor facilities, gas piping, process piping, QC inspection or piping testing is preferred.
• Semiconductor fab/project experience will be an advantage.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings and piping layouts.
• Familiar with inspection, testing and QC documentation.
• Good attention to detail and a strong quality and safety mindset.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work at different project/customer sites in Singapore when required.
