Job summary

ETHOS SEARCH ASSOCIATES PTE. LTD. is seeking motivated Field Service Engineers (Application) to support semiconductor solutions across customer sites in Asia.

You will install systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and work directly with customers to optimise performance. You will develop application test programmes, support board design and system validation, and ensure deployments are fully functional. Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in semiconductor, electronics, field service, or application engineering.
• Strong fundamentals in analog/digital electronics, metrology, and test systems.
• Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with customers and global teams.
• Prior experience in customer-facing or field service environments is an advantage.
• Willing to travel and work at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Field Service & Customer Support: on-site and remote across Asia; install systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and recover systems; diagnose and resolve complex issues.
• Application Engineering & Development: develop, debug, validate application test programmes; support board design, assembly, and system validation; translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• System Integration & Deployment: support system setup, integration, and acceptance testing at customer sites; ensure solutions are fully functional and deployment-ready; collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: partner with Engineering, Production, and Operations to deliver solutions; contribute to a Technical Center of Excellence in Singapore; drive improvements from real customer feedback and system performance.
