Job summary

ARDENTEC SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an Equipment Engineer / Shift Engineer to join its hardware engineering team in Woodlands. This permanent role involves setting up testers, handlers, and probers, troubleshooting equipment, and performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

The candidate will collaborate across departments for install/offload activities, update equipment status, and prepare daily shift reports. Fresh graduates are welcome; some semiconductor exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

Min Diploma.
Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
Prior hands-on experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
Able to use MS Office.
Basic knowledge in ESD controls, 8D.
Able to work in rotating shifts for Shift engineer.

Responsibilities

To perform product set up for testers, handlers, probers, and other equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment issues (handler/prober/tester) and ensure low machine downtime.
Perform setup conversion, periodic maintenance/calibration.
Coordinate with departments for equipment installation/deinstallation and buyoff.
Create and update equipment and hardware status on time.
Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled.
Liaise with departments to resolve machine or probe card issues.
Make recommendations to improve process and equipment efficiency.
Prepare and present daily shift report.
