Job summary

RRecruiter is seeking an Associate Test Engineer in Singapore to join a semiconductor equipment team. You will set up, calibrate and test equipment, interpret drawings, and generate technical reports.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering, hands-on testing and troubleshooting skills, and willingness to work rotating shifts in a cleanroom environment, including weekends and OT. Collaboration and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in semiconductor, electronics, equipment testing, or equipment maintenance is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and measurement instruments.
• Able to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Comfortable with rotating shifts, cleanroom environment, weekends and OT.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot semiconductor equipment, electronic circuits, and mechanical assemblies.
• Perform system and component testing to ensure equipment functionality and quality.
• Analyze test results and identify technical issues and root causes.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, diagrams, and technical procedures.
• Support experiments, data collection, testing, and technical analysis.
• Perform repair / rework on equipment assemblies and systems when required.
• Select and set up specialized testing and measurement equipment.
• Prepare technical reports and recommend solutions to engineering problems.
