Job summary

GlobalFoundries Singapore seeks an Equipment Technician to support production in the Module, conduct PM/calibration, and assist engineers with new equipment setup. The role involves troubleshooting to minimize downtime and participating in process improvements.

Qualified candidates hold a Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Mechanical or Microelectronics engineering, with 3-6 years of semiconductor equipment experience, and familiarity with LAM or KLA SPTS tools.

Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical/ Microelectronics Engineering.
3-6 years experience in semiconductor equipment role is preferred.
Preferably with tool experience in LAM/KLA SPTS.
Able to perform 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

Perform 12-hour shift to support the running of Production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on a timely basis.
Assist Engineer in the installation and hook-up of new equipment.
Trouble-shoot equipment-related issues and minimize equipment downtime.
Assist in implementing equipment improvement project.
Participate in Quality Improvement Team program to improve productivity and output quality of the Module and monitor/feedback to Engineers.
