Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore is hiring a production technician to support 12-hour wafer fabrication shifts. You will assist engineers, troubleshoot process issues, and maintain process integrity on the fab lines.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics and Microelectronics Engineering with at least 1 year of relevant experience and is able to work rotating shifts. Emphasis on safety and strict SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics and Microelectronics Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform 12-hour shift duties to support silicon wafer production and maintain process integrity.
• Assist Engineers in qualification and fine-tuning of production processes.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and minimize downtimes.
• Monitor and improve processes using SPC and other statistics.
• Coordinate with specialists to ensure SOPs are followed.
• Assist in process improvement projects and internal QA audits.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety in the production area.
