Job summary

Applied Angstrom Technology Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an Equipment Engineer to design and test mechanical components for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, collaborating with senior engineers on concept feasibility and 3D modeling.

You will interface with suppliers to ensure part quality and manufacturability, perform design validation tests, document changes, and present findings to stakeholders in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• BS is minimum, MS preferred in Equipment Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of direct experience in mechanical design and modeling.
• Experience in semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Able to work in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment.
• Strong communication with internal teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Translate concept to practical design with minimal guidance.
• 3D model complex parts and assemblies.
• Create detailed drawings with GD&T.
• Define and conduct design validation tests.
• Interact with suppliers to ensure smooth manufacturing.
• Document engineering changes and manage version control.
• Present reports to colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Perform root cause analysis and improvements.
