Job summary

Search Staffing Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Senior/ Principal Engineer to lead semiconductor data analytics efforts, focusing on silicon performance, yield, and mass-production readiness.

You will build analytics platforms and collaborate with Design, Product Engineering, Test Engineering, and manufacturing teams to translate data into actionable improvements for IC development and production.

Qualifications

• Degree or postgraduate in Electrical/Electronics, CS, Data Science, or Statistics.
• Senior: 5+ years in relevant field; Principal: 8+ years.
• Semiconductor industry experience is essential.
• Hands-on data analytics on IC design, silicon performance, yield, reliability, or manufacturing data.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, JMP, Power BI, Tableau, or Excel/VBA; Databricks a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced data analytics methods to understand chip performance, identify trends, and generate insights for IC design and product improvements.
• Analyse semiconductor manufacturing and test data to understand yield losses and improve product quality and reliability.
• Develop statistical analysis and screening methods to identify outliers, detect issues, and reduce defective chips reaching customers.
• Develop and manage analytics platforms, dashboards, and automated reporting for engineers.
• Work with Design, Product Engineering, Test Engineering and manufacturing partners to turn data insights into actionable improvements for mass production.
