Job summary

WANCO MANPOWER PTE LTD is seeking a Backend Technician for a 12-month renewable contract in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration of backend semiconductor equipment, working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires Nitec/Diploma in engineering or a technical field, with hands-on experience in semiconductor backend processes and equipment such as VITROX Scanner, ICOS or MicroVision being advantageous.

Qualifications

Minimum Nitec or Diploma in Engineering or Technical discipline.
Experience in backend semiconductor inspection/test preferred.
Hands-on with VITROX Scanner, ICOS or MicroVision advantageous.
Experience in electronics/manufacturing environment preferred.
Able to troubleshoot independently and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, conversion and repair of backend equipment.
Carry out preventive maintenance and calibration to ensure reliability.
Support equipment troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
Collaborate with engineers and production teams to maintain performance.
Support backend semiconductor inspection/test processes and related equipment.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Assist other engineering and maintenance duties as assigned.
