Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a SEM Technician to operate and maintain SEM equipment and prepare samples for imaging. You will interact with engineers, troubleshoot tools, and explore AI-driven improvement opportunities to enhance imaging and data analysis.

The role emphasizes collaboration with TD/YE lab and peers, and requires an associate degree or equivalent, SEM/FIB experience, and strong communication skills. Shifts rotate as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field.
• Good understanding of FAB process steps: wet/dry etch, PVD, ALD, CMP, etc.
• Ability to prioritize and work independently.
• Experience in SEM or FIB operation.
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal).
• MS Office proficiency (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Willing to work any shift on a rotating schedule.
• Basic understanding of AI, ML, or data analytics concepts.
• Experience using AI-assisted image analysis or semiconductor data analysis tools is an advantage.
• Familiarity with scripting, automation tools, or data visualization platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide SEM support for NAND development across technology nodes.
• Interact with process/integration engineers on requests and priorities.
• Communicate tool issues and requests with Micron team members and suppliers.
• Collaborate to evaluate and implement AI-based SEM image processing and defect classification.
• Troubleshoot tool issues and optimize performance.
• Identify opportunities to automate laboratory operations.
