Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking an Engineer for Process and Equipment Engineering to identify and resolve advanced manufacturing problems.

You will coordinate equipment and material evaluations, lead new equipment qualifications, and support AI-enabled optimization to improve yield and efficiency. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.

• Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact.
• Interest in the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and Engineering Statistical data analysis would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose and resolve process and equipment related problems.
• Coordinate and execute process, equipment and material evaluation / optimization initiatives and implement changes at process step.
• Lead / support New Equipment Qualification to support new technology development and production ramp.
• Lead / participate in continuous yield improvement and cost reduction activities.
• Validate and fan out new process baseline qualified, including new process, tools and/or materials for new product introduction.
• Support SPC/FDC/RMS/APC.
• Manage/audit material suppliers to achieve quality, cost and risk management objectives.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness.
