Hilton Singapore Orchard is seeking a Security Team Leader to support the Security Executive in guiding on-duty Officers and handling daily operations in their absence. You will oversee security activities, supervise officers, and coordinate with departments to ensure safety and compliance.

The role emphasizes patrols, incident response, reporting, and training, with duties including rostering, briefings, and maintaining Hilton’s safety standards across the property.

Qualifications

• High School or Secondary Vocational School graduate.
• Holds a valid Security Officer License by Police Licensing and Regulatory Department (PLRD).
• Proficient with hotel security, public security, fire control and management.
• First Aid and Company Emergency Response Certification required.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to organize and direct staff according to job specifications to complete tasks.
• Familiar with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Secure the premises by patrolling the property, monitoring CCTV and inspecting buildings, equipment and access points.
• Respond to and manage incidents involving guest, colleague or property safety, ensuring compliance with internal policy and legislation, and escalating to emergency services or management where necessary.
• Carry out regular checks on fire, safety, security and emergency procedures, ensuring the team is fully conversant with evacuation, lockdown and active attack protocols.
• Supervise, lead and train Security Officers to ensure daily operations are carried out to standard, deploying resources for optimal performance.
• Conduct regular team briefings and de-briefs, provide coaching and feedback, and support the development of individual and succession plans.
• Prepare duty rotas and schedule annual leave in alignment with business needs, reviewing coverage with the Safety & Security Manager.
• Complete accurate reports on observations, incidents and surveillance activities, including witness interviews and evidence collection where necessary.
• Liaise daily with operational departments and represent the Assistant Safety & Security Manager or Security Executive as required, including covering their duties in their absence.
• Carry out other relevant duties as directed, upholding Hilton's reputation, values and standards at all times.

What will I be doing?
