Job summary

Securitas Electronic Security Singapore Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a service-focused engineer responsible for commissioning and testing third-party security products and systems. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in relevant engineering fields or Higher NITEC with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer, Electronics/Electrical/IT Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering/Higher NITEC (or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar field
• Good team player, independent, and able to work under pressure
• Positive attitude with the ability to take initiative

Responsibilities

• Carry out testing and commissioning of CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, Fire Alarm, AV, Public Address and other Security & Communication systems
• Analyze equipment failures to determine the cause and recommend/corrective actions
• Complete all assigned jobs on time and meet customers’ specifications
• Provide support to the Project Team on the implementation of new projects
• Attend and carry out rectification works at the site
• Carry out standby duties as per roster for urgent service requests outside office hours
• Provide customers with continuous technical and operational program support
• Provide support to projects during the DLP period to ensure all rectification works are completed before handover
