Job summary

Securitas Electronic Security Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Security System Specialist to maintain and configure physical and digital security systems, including Lenel OnGuard and Avigilon, in support of client projects and regional service activities. You will collaborate with the on-site Project Manager or Regional Lead, and may travel up to 30% including after-hours emergencies.

• Degree or Diploma in Computer, Electronics/Electrical/IT Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security or Telecommunication Engineering.
• Lenel OnGuard Certification at Advanced Access or higher, and Avigilon Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with physical security systems in a high-security corporate environment.
• Strong project management skills and systematic problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project processes to ensure compliance to Client's security standards.
• Attend project meetings and site surveys to collect information and requirements from stakeholders.
• Liaise with stakeholders including system integrators on project requirements.
• Draft site security design (Powerpoint) according to deployment standards and principles.
• Configure the access control system (Lenel Onguard) and Video Surveillance System (Avigilon) as per programming matrix.
• Identify design/requirement changes during project implementation and highlight to Client's Project Manager/Regional Lead.
• Ensure relevant project documents fulfill client standards.
• Assist in documentation efforts of standards and guidelines.
• Travel up to 30% and be prepared for emergencies or after-hours when required.

THE JOB

The Security System Specialist maintains physical or digital security systems, involving configuring surveillance and access control systems, supporting client’s projects, and regional service and maintenance activities, conducting vulnerability assessments, and responding promptly to system alerts or breaches,

This position reports to the Director, Service, and works closely with the client’s on‑site Project Manager or Regional Lead.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Project

1. Participate in project process to ensure compliance to Client's security standards
2. Participate in project meetings & site surveys to collect information and requirements from stakeholders
3. Liaise with stakeholders (including system integrators) regarding project requirements
4. Draft site security design (Powerpoint) according to Client's deployment standards & principles
5. Configure the access control system (Lenel Onguard) & Video Surveillance System (Avigilon) as per programming matrix, according to client's configuration standards
6. Identify design/requirement changes during project implementation and highlight to Client's Project Manager/Regional Lead
7. Ensure relevant project documents fulfill client standards
8. Assist in documentation efforts of standards and guidelines

Service & Maintenance

1. Support regional service & maintenance for break/fix cases
2. Coordinate with P.SOC (Security operation center) to operate tickets to troubleshoot issues and verify system SI rectification works
3. Conduct and lead system vendors in conducting routine preventive maintenance (RPM) for client's devices
4. Support Client manager in data recording, analysis and improvement works
5. Support configuration changes, firmware updates and security system related engineering works
6. Support modification projects and minor project works

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Diploma in Computer, Electronics/Electrical/IT Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security or Telecommunication Engineering.
• Lenel OnGuard Certification, preferably Advanced Access or higher, and Avigilon Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with physical security systems, specifically within a high-security corporate environment.
• Project management experience, including the ability to apply a structured and systematic approach to problem-solving.
• Technical experience with configuration, installation, troubleshooting and management of Access Control System & Video Surveillance systems including CCTVs.
• With Lenel OnGuard Certification (Advanced access or higher) and Avigilon Certified.
• Strong technical knowledge of security platforms, with a preferred experience in Lenel Onguard and Avigilon.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while handling sensitive information appropriately and work effectively in a fast paced, 24/7 security environment.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and coordination skills, including the ability to work with partner teams from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in regular computer use, data analysis, and report preparation.
• Positive attitude, independent and willingness to learn.
• Willingness to work at the client’s site, including evenings or weekends when required for emergencies, critical incidents, or high-priority events.
• Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time, occasionally with limited notice.
• Any ad hoc tasks as assigned to support the client's projects.
