Job summary

sggovterp is seeking an experienced Security Operations Centre Manager to oversee the 24/7 Jurong Island Operations Centre (JIOC), directing Duty Commanders and outsourced security officers to ensure checkpoint operations run uninterrupted.

You will review SOPs, coordinate with government agencies, and develop new directives. The role involves training, incident management, and on-site response to safety and security incidents, with shift work as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of experience in security planning and operations.
• Experience developing SOPs and other security work processes.
• Ability to lead a team of Duty Commanders and outsourced security officers.
• Able to do shift work as a Duty Commander, when required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24/7 Jurong Island Operations Centre and guide a team of Duty Commanders and outsourced security officers to ensure checkpoint operations continue undisrupted.
• Oversee initial Incident Management by Duty Commanders for safety and/or security-related incidents at the checkpoint and/or within Jurong Island.
• Review SOPs in line with IPA 2017, PAPP Act, and update with new technology and procedures.
• Coordinate and facilitate training and joint exercises with government agencies and Jurong Island tenants.
