Job summary

Shilla Travel Retail Pte Ltd is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard store premises, perform regular patrols, monitor CCTV, and escort deliveries to the loading bay. Responsibilities include preventing prohibited items from entering restricted areas, conducting staff bag checks, reporting irregularities, and overseeing daily operations of outsourced security personnel.

Permanent night shift from 8pm to 7am; minimum 1–2 years' relevant experience, strong planning, teamwork, and good

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong organizing and planning skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Good understanding of building & regulatory compliance requirements.
• Initiative, dependable, energetic and team player.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols within store premises.
• Monitor surveillance equipment to maintain security.
• Escort deliveries to the basement loading bay.
• Prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
• Check staff bags, purses, pockets and lockers for suspicious items.
• Conduct STEB bag checks for breaches.
• Guard against theft and oversee daily security operations.
• Report irregularities and violations.
• Investigate thefts and file police reports.
• Provide security training for new staff.
• Oversee daily operations of outsourced security personnel.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job description

Patrolling:

• Conducting regular patrols within the store premises to prevent shoplifting and ensure the safety of personnel.




• Monitoring surveillance equipment to maintain the security of the property.




• Escorting deliveries to the basement loading bay according to the delivery process.




• Preventing the passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.

Checking:

• Conducting checks on staff bags, purses, pockets, and lockers for suspicious items.




• Complying with legal requirements and conducting frequent STEB bag checks for breaches.

Guarding (Loss Prevention):

• Preventing losses and damages by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policies and procedures.




• Overseeing daily retail operations from a security perspective.




• Guarding against theft and maintaining security by looking out for potential thefts.




• Reporting rule infractions and violations.




• Apprehending criminals and evicting violators.




• Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities, including interviewing witnesses and obtaining signatures.

Security Monitoring:

• Analyzing current theft and contributing to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.




• Investigating thefts and filing police reports.

Others:

• Conducting security training for new staff and promoters.




• Overseeing the daily operations of outsourced security personnel.




• Any ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirement:

• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience

Permanent Night Shift Working Hours:
