Job summary

Woh Hup (Private) Limited is seeking a Security Officer to protect its sites and offices, ensuring a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors.

You will record movements, issue passes, maintain security logs, conduct patrols and spot checks, handle emergencies, and assist the traffic team. The role requires PSLE, a PLRD license, at least 1 year of security experience, and willingness to work rotating day/night shifts on a 5-day week in a construction setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum PSLE.
• Experience: At least 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Possess a Police Licensing & Regulatory Department (PLRD) license.
• Willing to work in a construction environment.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts (5 day work week, Day and Night Shift).

Responsibilities

• Record all vehicular and personnel movements at the site.
• Issue security passes for different personnel categories to enter the site (e.g. sub-contractors).
• Record and update registers and occurrence books at the security post.
• Conduct foot patrols at regular intervals during shifts.
• Perform regular spot checks to verify bona fide work permit holders.
• Attend to emergencies and incidents and contact site key personnel as needed.
• Assist the traffic controller to ensure smooth flow of vehicular movement.

Job description

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment at Company’s sites and offices.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Record all vehicular / personnel movements in and out of the site

• Issue relevant security passes to the different categories of personnel (e.g. sub-contractors) for entering the site

• Record and update all registers and occurrence books at the security post

• Conduct foot patrol at regular intervals during their shift

• Conduct regular spot checks on workers to ensure they are bona fide work permits holders

• Attend to emergencies and incidents, and to contact site key personnel when necessary

• To assist traffic controller from time to time ensuring smooth flow of vehicular movement
  

Skills and Requirements:

• Education: Minimum PSLE

• Experience: At least 1 year of relevant working experience

• Possess a Police Licensing & Regulatory Department (PLRD) license

• Willing to work in a construction environment

• Willing to work on rotating shifts (5 day work week, Day and Night Shift)

• Day Shift: 7/8am to 7/8pm, Night Shift 7/8pm to 7/8am, Mid shift 11am to 11pm
