Job summary

SHILLA TRAVEL RETAIL PTE. LTD. is seeking a security professional to patrol store premises, deter shoplifting, and protect staff during the night shift.

You will monitor CCTV, escort deliveries to the loading bay, check for prohibited items, report irregularities, train new staff, and supervise outsourced security personnel while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant security experience.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities with multitasking.
• Solid knowledge of building and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proactive, dependable, energetic and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Patrol store premises regularly to deter shoplifting and protect staff.
• Monitor surveillance equipment to safeguard property.

• Check staff bags, purses, pockets, and lockers for suspicious items.
• Report irregularities and enforce security policies.
• Investigate thefts and file police reports.

• Complete incident reports with observations and signatures.

Job description

Patrolling:

• Conducting regular patrols within the store premises to prevent shoplifting and ensure the safety of personnel.
• Monitoring surveillance equipment to maintain the security of the property.
• Escorting deliveries to the basement loading bay according to the delivery process.
• Preventing the passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.

Checking:

• Conducting checks on staff bags, purses, pockets, and lockers for suspicious items.
• Complying with legal requirements and conducting frequent STEB bag checks for breaches.

Guarding (Loss Prevention):

• Preventing losses and damages by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policies and procedures.
• Overseeing daily retail operations from a security perspective.
• Guarding against theft and maintaining security by looking out for potential thefts.
• Reporting rule infractions and violations.
• Apprehending criminals and evicting violators.
• Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities, including interviewing witnesses and obtaining signatures.

Security Monitoring:

• Analyzing current theft and contributing to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Investigating thefts and filing police reports.

Others:

• Conducting security training for new staff and promoters.
• Overseeing the daily operations of outsourced security personnel.
• Any ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirement:

• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience

Perm Night Shift Working Hours:8pm to 7am
