Job summary

National University Hospital is seeking a Security Officer to perform daily deployment duties across duty points, greet patients and visitors, and support front-lobby operations. The role includes vehicle flow management, access control, CCTV monitoring, and incident response.

You may be tasked as 2nd in command and must handle ad-hoc security needs with professionalism. Requirements include PSLE or above, at least 2 years of security experience, teamwork, and availability for 3 rotating shifts

Qualifications

• Minimum PSLE and above.
• Preferably minimum 2 years of security officer experience.
• Good team player and customer oriented.
• Able to work 3 rotating shifts including weekends / PH.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily deployment duties at duty points.
• Smile and greet incoming and exiting patients/visitors.
• Assist to open/close arriving/departing vehicles at the front lobby.
• Provide proactive assistance to arriving/departing patients/visitors (wheelchair, trolley).
• Coordinate taxi calls and wheelchair/portering tasks.
• Ensure smooth vehicle flow in roads and carparks.
• Assist in car park management and pass administration.
• Administer access control, contractor management and pass issues.
• Review CCTV footage and recordings.
• Handle incidents (fire, emergency activation).
• Attend to Code Black triggers (violent patients, crowds, etc.).
• Perform internal and external foot patrols.
• 2nd I/C duties: assist Senior Officers in deployment and management.
• Provide security support for ad-hoc situations (VIP visits, emergencies).
• Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor.
