Job summary

The Management Corporation - Strata Title Plan No. 1143 is seeking a diligent security officer to ensure safety at the site. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to emergencies, monitor CCTV, and control crowds to prevent disturbances while maintaining order and safety across the premises.

The role requires a valid PLRD security license, WSQ modules, and at least 1 year of related experience. You must be able to communicate in simple English and be willing to work rotating shifts, including

Qualifications

• Valid security license registered with PLRD.
• Completed WSQ Security modules listed above.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in security.
• Able to communicate and write simple English for recording incidents.
• Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols and clocking to maintain site safety and security.
• Respond promptly to emergency incidents and accidents on site to minimize risk.
• Manage disorderly conduct and threatening behaviour to maintain order.
• Observe, inspect, and report unusual behaviour or hazards to prevent incidents.
• Monitor CCTV to detect and respond to security threats effectively.
• Control crowds to maintain safety and prevent disturbances.

Job Summary

You will ensure safety and security by conducting routine patrols, responding to emergencies, managing disorderly conduct, monitoring CCTV, and controlling traffic and crowds at the site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols and clocking to maintain site safety and security
• Respond promptly to emergency incidents and accidents on site to minimize risk
• Manage disorderly conduct and threatening behavior to maintain order
• Observe, inspect, and report unusual behavior or safety/fire hazards to prevent incidents
• Manage driveways to ensure smooth flow of traffic and reduce congestion
• Monitor CCTV to detect and respond to security threats effectively
• Control crowds to maintain safety and prevent disturbances

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a valid security license registered with PLRD
• Completed WSQ Security modules in:
• Handle Security Incidents and Services
• Provide Guard and Patrol Services
• Recognise Terrorist Threat or equivalent
• Operate Basic Security Equipment
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in a related security field
• Ability to communicate and write simple English for recording daily incidents
• Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Positive working attitude

Other Information

• Location: Next to Havelock MRT Station (TE16)
• Gross Salary: $3,000 to $3,100 per month
• 12-hour rotating shifts
