Job summary

Woh Hup (Private) Limited is seeking a Security Officer to protect its sites and offices, ensuring a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors.

You will record movements, issue passes, maintain security logs, conduct patrols and spot checks, handle emergencies, and assist the traffic team. The role requires PSLE, a PLRD license, at least 1 year of security experience, and willingness to work rotating day/night shifts on a 5-day week in a construction setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum PSLE.
• Experience: At least 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Possess a Police Licensing & Regulatory Department (PLRD) license.
• Willing to work in a construction environment.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts (5 day work week, Day and Night Shift).

Responsibilities

• Record all vehicular and personnel movements at the site.
• Issue security passes for different personnel categories to enter the site (e.g. sub-contractors).
• Record and update registers and occurrence books at the security post.
• Conduct foot patrols at regular intervals during shifts.
• Perform regular spot checks to verify bona fide work permit holders.
• Attend to emergencies and incidents and contact site key personnel as needed.
• Assist the traffic controller to ensure smooth flow of vehicular movement.
