Job summary

SXC in Singapore is hiring for a security officer to monitor premises, patrol on foot, and manage access control. You will open facilities, conduct morning traffic control, and support event security while ensuring SOP compliance and high customer service standards.

The role requires rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays, a valid security license, and at least 2 years of related experience. Physical fitness and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• GCE O level, N level, A level, ITE or Polytechnic qualification.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.
• Security license holder.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Physically and medically fit for long hours on foot (min 6 hours per shift).
• Mature, warm, and energetic team player with pleasant disposition.
• Able to communicate with people of different nationalities.
• Interest in CCTV/access control systems and basic troubleshooting advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Alert and aware of all occurrences within the assigned premises.
• Foot patrol and static post duty as assigned (guardhouse).
• Securing and opening of all facilities on the premise.
• Perform morning traffic control (min. 2 hours per shift).
• Assist to manage events’ security, traffic control, ground deployment and parking.
• Enforcing safety & security SOPs and compliance with ground officers.
• Any other safety & security related work as required by reporting officer.
