Job summary

Talents@Work Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for guests, team members and premises.

You will conduct regular patrols, monitor security and fire life safety systems, manage access, respond to incidents and emergencies, and occasionally assist front desk tasks. The role requires flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary school or equivalent.
• Relevant security experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
• Valid Singapore security licence / PLRD licence as required.
• Knowledge of hotel security operations and access control.
• Basic knowledge of fire life safety, emergency response and first aid.
• Comfortable working shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Pre-Opening Experience is a plus.

• Occasionally support front desk operations (e.g., luggage assistance, giving directions).
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

OVERVIEWOFROLE

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our guests, team members, visitors and hotel premises.

The role is responsible for conducting regular patrols, monitoring security and fire life safety systems, managing access control, protecting hotel assets, responding to incidents and emergencies, and ensuring compliance with hotel security procedures and relevant regulations.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Patrol and monitor hotel premises to ensure a safe environment

• Safeguard the organization’s properties and assets against theft, vandalism, and other unlawful activities

• Manage access points and ensure only authorized persons have access to restricted areas.
