Talents@Work Pte Ltd invites applications for a Security Officer at our hotel client in Singapore. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for guests, team members and visitors.

You will conduct regular patrols, monitor fire life safety systems, manage access control, assist guests in emergencies, and occasionally support front desk tasks. A valid Singapore security licence and physical fitness are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary school or equivalent qualification.
• Valid Singapore security licence.
• Experience in hotel or hospitality security preferred.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• physically fit and able to conduct patrols and respond to emergencies.

Responsabilités

• Safeguard properties and assets against theft, vandalism and other unlawful activities.
• Manage access points and ensure only authorized persons have access to restricted areas.
• Ensure visitor registration procedures are completed.
• Provide assistance to guests and respond to emergencies.
• Occasionally support front desk operations (e.g., luggage assistance, directions).
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

OVERVIEWOFROLE

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our guests, team members, visitors and hotel premises.

The role is responsible for conducting regular patrols, monitoring security and fire life safety systems, managing access control, protecting hotel assets, responding to incidents and emergencies, and ensuring compliance with hotel security procedures and relevant regulations.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Patrol and monitor hotel premises to ensure a safe environment
• Safeguard the organization’s properties and assets against theft, vandalism, and other unlawful activities
• Manage access points and ensure only authorized persons have access to restricted areas.
• Ensure external visitors complete the required visitor registration procedures and are directed properly
• Provide assistance to guests and respond to emergency situations
• Occasionally support front desk operations (e.g., luggage assistance, giving directions)
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Secondary School or equivalent qualification
• Relevant security experience in a hotel, hospitality, commercial or similar environment preferred.
• Valid Singapore security licence / relevant PLRD licence as required for the role.
• Knowledge of hotel security operations, access control and patrol procedures
• Basic knowledge of fire life safety, emergency response and first aid procedures
• Physically fit and able to conduct regular patrols / respond to emergencies
• Comfortable working shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Pre-Opening Experience is a plus
