Job summary

BHCC Construction Pte. Ltd. is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to oversee entry/exit control and secure construction site and dormitory facilities. You will verify identifications, maintain movement records and perform regular site patrols to prevent unauthorised access.

Responsibilities include securing gates and contractor offices after hours, inspecting safety equipment, and responding to security incidents with prompt reporting. Prior experience on construction sites is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Security Licence (PLRD) required.
• Experience in construction site or dormitory environment preferred.
• Basic communication and reporting skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor the entry and exit of workers, visitors and vehicles to prevent unauthorised access.
• Verify identification, worker passes and access authorisation, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle movement records.
• Conduct regular security patrols of the construction site, site offices and dormitory areas, where applicable.
• Secure gates, doors, contractor offices and HDB site offices during and after working hours.
• Conduct visual checks of fire extinguishers, alarm panels and other designated equipment, and report faults or abnormalities.
• Respond promptly to security incidents and support emergency evacuation and response procedures.
• Maintain clear occurrence logs, incident reports and shift handover records.
• Carry out other security-related duties assigned by the site management.
