Job summary

Ley Choon Group Holdings Ltd is seeking a Security Officer to support site safety and security through patrol duties, CCTV monitoring, access control, and incident response.

The role involves reporting irregularities, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with security procedures to safeguard premises and assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum N Level, O Level, or equivalent.
• Valid Security (PLRD) Licence (Required)
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in security operations, including guardhouse or site-based roles
• Good understanding of safety and security procedures and protocols
• Strong observation skills with attention to detail
• Good communication skills and able to respond calmly and appropriately in emergency situations

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to maintain order and ensure a visible security presence
• Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to detect and respond to any suspicious or unlawful activities
• Respond promptly to alarms and investigate incidents to ensure safety and security
• Control access points and secure the premises, ensuring only authorised entry to the site
• Report irregularities, security breaches, and potential risks to prevent loss or damage to company property
• Prepare and submit clear, accurate incident and activity reports
• Enforce company security policies and procedures to ensure compliance
• Respond to emergencies and support incident management as required
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or Head of Department (HOD)
