Job summary

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Engage customers to understand operational and technical requirements.
• Conduct site surveys and technical assessments.
• Recommend suitable security and ICT solutions based on customer needs.
• Provide technical advice during customer meetings and presentations.
• Design integrated security solutions that comply with customer specifications.
• Prepare system architecture diagrams and network topology.
• Develop BOQs, equipment schedules, and technical compliance matrices.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and cost-effective.
• Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, and contract requirements.
• Prepare technical proposals, method statements, and compliance documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for quotations and technical support.
• Assist the commercial team in preparing competitive pricing.
• Ensure timely submission of tender documents.
• Provide technical support for CCTV & VMS, ACS, PSIM Platforms, AI Video Analytics, PIDS, Intercom, Intrusion Alarm, Cabling & Networking, Server & Storage, Cybersecurity, Data Centre Security, and critical infrastructure solutions.
• Liaise with technology partners for product selection and pricing.
• Obtain technical documentation, certifications, and compliance statements.
• Coordinate proof-of-concept demonstrations where required.
• Stay updated on new technologies and product releases.
• Provide technical support to the sales team during customer engagements.
• Conduct internal product training sessions.
• Support project teams during project handover.
• Assist with technical clarifications during project execution.
• Prepare and maintain technical proposals, BOQs, compliance matrices, system architecture drawings, network diagrams, datasheets, equipment schedules, technical specifications, method statements, risk assessments, testing & commissioning plans, and O&M documentation where required.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry standards.
• Maintain professional certifications from key technology partners.
• Develop standard proposal templates and reusable technical documentation.
• KPIs: technical proposals submitted on time, tender technical compliance rate, tender win rate, accuracy of BOQs, number of technical presentations, response time to technical inquiries, and new technologies introduced.
