Job summary

Ascendion Engineering Solutions Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an IT Security Engineer to implement, operate, and support security controls for mission-critical systems within a secured environment.

Day 1 focuses on security build and project implementation, Day 2 on operations and production support. You will work with Security Leads, Infra, System, and Software teams to ensure compliance with Singapore government security policies and standards, manage CI/CD security tooling, vulnerability

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science / Cybersecurity / Information Security or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of IT security or infrastructure security experience.
• Hands-on experience with security in projects or production environments.
• Familiarity with Singapore Government security policies (IM8 preferred).
• Hands-on with Kubernetes/Docker security, IAM, security tools (SAST, DAST, SIEM, scanners), CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
• Basic knowledge of network, application, and cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Day 1 – Project / Implementation Security: Implement security architecture and controls; support security configurations; assist in threat modelling and risk assessment; translate requirements into technical implementations.
• Day 2 – Operations / Production Security: Incident response, vulnerability management, monitoring, audits support, access control administration.
